Bottom line: all box office figures on this site are estimates from multiple public sources and may be inaccurate.
Indian box office data is inherently unofficial and is not publicly audited. There is no official public register of Indian box office figures in India. Cinenomics does not have access to a single authoritative ledger, and the film industry does not publish a complete, consistently verified public dataset.
Everything shown here is an estimate assembled from multiple public sources, including film-industry trackers, published reports, and other public material. Sources may contain errors, gaps, rounding, old reporting conventions, or conflicting values. We cross-check what we can and preserve original values where possible, but cross-checking does not turn an estimate into an audited fact.
Figures can change as new information emerges, a source is corrected, or our methods improve. A blank figure does not necessarily mean that no collection occurred; it may mean that we could not find a sufficiently usable public figure. A number may also represent a different measure—such as nett, gross, share, India, or worldwide—than a number reported elsewhere.
Cinenomics makes no warranty, express or implied, that any figure, date, credit, budget, verdict, ranking, or other information is accurate, current, complete, or fit for a particular purpose. The site and its data are provided for informational and entertainment purposes only.
Do not rely on Cinenomics figures for business, investment, distribution, legal, tax, accounting, contractual, employment, academic, or other financial decisions. Verify important information independently with the relevant producer, distributor, exhibitor, auditor, rights holder, or another qualified source.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cinenomics and its operators are not liable for any loss, cost, claim, damage, or missed opportunity arising from or connected with reliance on the site or its data, including any loss caused by inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, changed, or conflicting figures.
Our verdict classifications are editorial and/or computed labels, not official industry ratings. The site may show separate verdicts based on collections, inflation-adjusted collections, and return on investment (ROI). They are analytical tools that depend on the inputs available to us and should not be treated as an official declaration of a film’s commercial result.
Adjusted figures are modeled estimates. They may use Indian ticket-price inflation and consumer-price-index (CPI) data, including assumptions about the year and the portion of a film’s business being adjusted. They are not official, inflation-certified, or footfall-audited numbers. ROI calculations depend on estimated collections and often incomplete or reported budgets, so an ROI verdict is also an estimate.
Different sources can disagree. We may retain the original values, notes, or context rather than silently replacing one report with another. Displayed totals may therefore differ from figures on another site. If you identify a material error or have a better public source, please reach out — we may review and update the record, but cannot promise that every report will be changed or that a correction will be immediate.
