These Terms of Service govern your use of Cinenomics and its pages, charts, APIs, and related materials. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
Cinenomics is a public reference and analytics site about Indian cinema and box office history. It covers films from roughly the 1960s through 2026 and may include daily, weekly, territory, India, overseas, and worldwide collections, credits, people, budgets, synopses, and verdicts.
The site is informational and is not an auditor, financial adviser, research service, distributor, producer, or official industry registry. The service may be unavailable, changed, delayed, or discontinued at any time.
Bottom line: all box office figures on this site are estimates from multiple public sources and may be inaccurate.
Indian box office data is inherently unofficial and not publicly audited. There is no official public register of Indian box office figures. Our figures are assembled from public film-industry trackers, published reports, and other sources. Sources can be incomplete, outdated, rounded, or contradictory. We try to cross-check information and keep values where possible, but we cannot guarantee the result.
Figures may be corrected or changed when new information appears. Do not use them as the basis for business, legal, tax, investment, accounting, contractual, or financial decisions. Cinenomics and its operators have no liability for data inaccuracies or for losses arising from reliance on the site, to the fullest extent permitted by law. See the Data Disclaimer, which forms part of these terms.
Collections, adjusted-collections, and ROI verdicts are editorial or computed labels, not official ratings. Adjusted figures use models such as ticket-price inflation and CPI assumptions; they are not official or audited figures. Rankings and charts are dependent on the data and method available at the time and may change without notice.
You may view and use the site for personal, educational, journalistic, and ordinary non-commercial reference, with appropriate attribution to Cinenomics where identified. You may quote brief portions and link back to the relevant page. You must not present a Cinenomics estimate as an audited or official figure, remove a disclaimer, or imply that Cinenomics endorses your work.
Bulk copying, mirroring, republishing, selling, licensing, or using the data to build a competing database or service requires prior written permission unless a separate open licence or original-source licence clearly allows it. Any reuse must also respect the rights and terms of the original sources. Facts and source material may belong to their respective owners; these terms do not transfer those rights.
Do not interfere with the site, bypass access controls, probe or attack systems, overload pages, evade rate limits, or use automated tools in a way that harms availability or violates applicable law. If you crawl publicly accessible pages for a legitimate purpose, use a reasonable rate, identify your crawler where practical, cache responses, follow instructions published on the site, and stop when asked. Do not scrape personal data, attempt to discover non-public endpoints, or use the site for spam, fraud, harassment, or unlawful activity.
We may limit, suspend, or block access that appears abusive or unsafe. Nothing here grants permission to use credentials, private systems, or data that is not publicly available.
The Cinenomics name, site design, original text, software, presentation, and compilations are owned by or licensed to the site operators, except for third-party material. You may not copy or modify those elements beyond what applicable law or written permission allows. Film names, posters, credits, trademarks, and other information may be owned by their respective rights holders.
The site is provided on an “as available” basis without warranties of accuracy, completeness, uninterrupted access, non-infringement, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cinenomics and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or direct loss arising from use of the site, including loss caused by inaccurate, missing, delayed, conflicting, or changed figures. Nothing in these terms excludes a liability that cannot legally be excluded.
We may update these terms or change the service by posting a revised version. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. These terms are governed by the laws of India, subject to applicable courts in India.
Questions, corrections, and permission requests can be sent to the site operators.
